Whats the best cooler ?

Im going to MIS next weekend and am looking to buy a decent cooler that holds ice the best. We had a 12v one that worked well when we had our motorhome but it "disappeared". It kept my beer cold but wouldnt hold ice very well.

Any suggestions without taking out a loan?

I've had good luck the last couple of years, with Colemans Extreme series (have a couple of them now). If You pre-cool them and use block ice, they will hold the ice 3 - 4 days easy in HOT temps. Won't break the bank either ! C-man.

The Igloo or Coleman plastic coolers work well. I freeze a couple of gallon jugs almost full of water for the long lasting effect. I also empty my ice maker into the cooler for some ice that melts fast. The melting ice is what cools the best. Draining the water off gets rid of the heat removed from your suds.:D

I have one of my igloo coolers in the garage, that still has ice left in it from last Saturday. Wife took it to a pool party, and it is still full of drinks. Kids have been using it all week while out playing in the yard. Figured it was cheaper than having them go in and out of the fridge all day.
