Wanted to let everybody know my Hunting Partner bagged a 23# Tom with a 11 inch beard yesterday in the Forestville Area. Unfortunately, I wasn't along on this hunt.
Last Sunday when we were hunting, just saw 7 Hens. No Toms were talking or showing themselves. My friend saw this Tom strutting in an area that we have permission to hunt and put a SNEAK ATTACK on him. He snuck down a ravine, then crawled on his belly to reach this Tom. It took over 45 minutes to get up to where he was strutting. I still have until the 15th on my permit to bag one, but doubt I'll get one as big as that, if I get one at all.
