View Full Version : ? on how to rig a cple different hooks?

Ok have a couple ?'s on how to rig a cple different hooks; First hook, being a hook that is a shakey head but it has like barb at that end by the head part on top side, how do i rig the worm on that without tearing my worm apart, i used a zoom trick worm, just couldn't get it to work. 2nd Hook is a weigted hook how do i rig that t-rigged? Do i just do it like normal t-rigg and just push the weight through the worm? Hooks is like this:

For the first one I'd have to see a pic of the hook, second one, just rig it like a normal Texas Rig, but make sure to lube the weight or you will tear your bait all to hell. Just wipe a little water on it. I use those same hooks for my swimbaits

On the first hook, the best way to rig it is to put the hook point through the nose of the bait like you normally would. then pull it back out, instead of pulling the entire hook through the bait. Then put the eye of the hook through the hole you made with the point. Then insert the hook in the back of the bait like normal. This saves you from tearing the bait all up.
