This is the time of year when Bass Pro drops a bunch of lunker rainbows in the river for the kids to catch at the fishing derby. If you are looking for a photo-op with a dumb rainbow trout, this is your chance. They'll dump 'em in at Squirrel Rd. on Saturday morning but the fish will quickly run for cover in Galloway, Stoney and Paint by the end of the day. Please do not mistake this for "natural reproduction".
If nothing else, please participate in one of the clean-up events.
