Anyone have tips on where to fish in Grand Rapids? Whitecaps Stadium? Riverside park? Thanks.

I just watched a fishing show and they were catching catfish on the grand. I know they were casting cut up chubs on a slip rig and using flat no roll sinkers. They said stick to eddies and log jams. The fish hold in the calmer spots to rest. Dont know if this helps but figured I would tell you anyway.

If you don't mind to drive, there is some great catfishing in the Gravel Pits in Robinson TWP, just west/sw of Grand Haven. Catch yourself some blue gill and then cut the head off with the guts attached and let her fly or go pick up some dipping tubes at gander mountain, I have found those to be effective as well.

Like Riverside park in Ottawa county, that pit just upstream from the launch has some hogs in it! Can access it from shore. The 33# monster flathead I boated there could have been reached from shore off that little point at the East end where it looks like a beach, FYI
