Anyone having success in southwest michigan for those big toms? This is my second year turkey hunting, and I bagged a jumbo. It was 26 pounds and I had it scored. He's got an 11 3/4" beard with 1 1/4" spurs. The guy that scored it said it was a monster. Let's here about some other big ones!!!

Well, I have had great success finding the Toms. Shooting one, however, is another story. I had another one about 50yds out yesterday morning and he hung up.
Thats about the forth time this past week. I couldnt have even gotten a shot off if I had one of those "far reachin shotguns" the cover is just to thick.

BTW, any of you guys hunting in the southwest area been getting bit by tick's?
I have pulled two off the back of my neck in the past week. Be careful!
