Going to hit some canals in the jon boat. Hope the nice gills and crappies haven't move out yet. Will post good or bad upon return(sunday). Still haven't completely decided where yet. I haven't worked the canals this time of year in at least 10 years.

Yeah, I know the feeling Joe. I got 25 gills 7-9" out of the jon boat today. Day started slow, ended up catching 80% of my fish on 10' of shoreline. First fish in that area was a double that I didn't dare lift off the water. Most of the fish came on crawlers, but quite a few on minnows too. Everything on jigs, they would have probably hit anything, but I wasn't going to change what was working.

Congrats on the fish Joe,

Harry

Nice job Harry, I'm going to have to get out in the canoe with you. I haven't had a fish dinner since ice fishing season because I've been trout fishing -Bryon
