My Bullfrog Ate a Bird!!!(is eating)

I have a small pond in my backyard with a huge bullfrog. Apparently the goldfish aren't satisfying him lol

I went out there and see him with something HUGE in his mouth, only to find out he's swallowing a sparrow!

I don't know if it drowned in the pond and he ate it or if he actually killed it, but he is in the process trying to swallow this thing.

I tried to get a pic but he jumped in the water. I'm going to try again in a few.

Bullfrogs definitely have big appetites. If you had more than one bullfrog in the backyard, I'd say you could have yourself froglegs tonight! :)

He probably ate everything and is moving on now that the food is depleted from your backyard. :)

I also have a Koi pond in my yard, that is home to 4 very large bullfrogs. Never seen them take a bird, but have watched them eat my young fish and they get garter snakes quite often, pretty entertaining watching them erating a snake.
