I had the day off from work today so I headed over to my 2nd favorite country (Oh Canada) in search of some of those fish with the stripes. Ended up with a limit of quality fish mostly ranging from 10-11 inches with a few bigger fish. Largest of the day was a 14 incher and I bet you can pick that one out. :D Had a little drizzle on the way out but other than that the weather and wind cooperated. It was definitely the best day fishing so far this year! :) And another pic of the old cooler:

Wow! I'm kinda new to this forum, but this is twice in say the last week and a half I've seen that awsome cooler filled with more awsome perch! What a deal you got going GF. I see why a lot refer to you when the subject of perch is brought up. You must put a display on every year!!!:xzicon_sm

The only time I've seen an empty cooler of yours is when it was intended for something other then fish:). Anytime you want to save some petro gold, just give me a call. The 150 opti sips it compared to that 318. Only a little difference in room on the Lowe vs. your ride:lol:.... I'll even unplug the GPS:idea:.

Good job again John.

I texted Jr at school and told him I had my limit. He asked if it was Walleye or Perch. I told him Perch and he named the spot where I caught them. Too bad girls are taking priority over his fishing. :p

Great job on the fish John. How many centimeters long did you say those fish are? Hope to see you up in the north channel catching some real fish after the middle of July.

Nice catch John Thanks for sharing the photo. I'm with you, nothing like swinging in a 10" perch or even a double of 9 to 10"ers. I hope to get my wife out Sunday morning. She is the perch queen. We have only perched together once since our daughter was born. (Over three years ago.) So let's hope for some nice weather Sunday. I'll give you a wave if I see you. I'm in a Silver/black Ranger.
