RJT and I hit the SCR about 7:45 and started jigging the Canadian side of MC. Didn't have a hit so we switch to pulling spinners w/o any luck at that. Switched back to jigging and picked up 3. Talked to Timeye who was sitting on 6, so we motored north and started handlining in St. Clair. Bad move for us...NEVER LEAVE fish to find fish. By the time we got up there the bite shut off. We decided to head back where we got our original 3 and picked up two more for a total of 5 fish for the night. One fish went 5-6 lbs...we caught 3 different year classes last night. All fish came on an assortment of RJT jigs and piranha fin-s. Beautiful night on the water and who ever said you can't jig in the dark.
