Look no farther than Curtis. "ANY of the Manistique lakes are great fishing and all have lots of cabins with boats................great area......

Lots of resorts/rentals in that area on any of the lakes, take your pick.

I agree great choice but I think he wanted the northern lower. Burt, Higgins, Houghton are some of my favorites.

have you ever fished that lake? looks like a fun place.

Staying there you would have access to Mullet, Burt, Indian River....etc.

In Curtis, Gordons Resort. Very nice cabins and come with a boat, can rent a motor for $75 a week right down the street. Been there many times and was never disappointed.

If you were talking to me, we fish it ALL the time. We shore fish so we are over by the dam area. But all the fish in my gallery were caught at Fletchers. Thats pretty much where we get all our fish to stock the freezer with. I LOVE that place. Next weekend, weather permitting, we are renting a pontoon for my son's birthday weekend and taking some friends out. Hopefully it will be nice one day of that weekend. Especially since it's the free fishing weekend and they have never been fishing.

I don't know about the walleye there as I haven't fished for them. But Fletchers is great for pike, bass and gills.

Yes there is. Its over towards the Jacks Landing area. But for a small fee, both Moore's landing and Paradise Lodge (by the dam) will let you launch from there.
Feel free to email me or IM me if you want to talk further.
