I was wondering about the Brandenberg park pier. A friend of mine has caught perch there but says that he has never seen anyone casting, just dropping spreader rigs over the side. There are a few spots between Marysville and Port Huron.
GPS for Marysville...N 42 deg 55.911, W 82 deg 27.431 Get there early, this place packs up fast at this time of year. The best part of this small area is at the south end of the lot.
GPS for Port Huron..N 42 deg 58.808, W 82 deg 25.236 (park near police station)
Good luck.

There are many places to fish for walleyes from shore along the St. Clair River. Port Huron, Marysville, St. Clair, East China, Marine City and Algonac all have places where you can wet a line.
BTW...the Marine City boat launch is open. Good luck!

Brandenburg there catching pike, bass, perch, catfish on all kinds of bait.Lots of guys casting off the dock doing really well..Marine city theyve got the hole in the fence open again lots of smallmouth and gobies havent heard much about the walleyes though. If you go to the church parking lot in marine city you can fish the entire boardwalk right on the river.Or theres johnny legas peir sturgeon from shore bass cats perch pike stergeon..And Algonac boardwalk ive caught a few nice eyes there allready this year throwing jiggs upstream bouncing them back up river..Hope this helps ya

Try the boardwalk in St Clair. Or in the Voyager parking lot just south of the boardwalk.

Now that they are charging a ramp fee at Port Huron boat launchs, are shore fishermen next? Can see it now, a shore fishermen sticker stuck to the forehead, good from April 1 to March 31. It couldn't happen, could it?

Almost, it's not stuck on your forehead but it is called a fishing license.
