Was either thinking about heading out to Lake Cadillac and Mitchell or Flecthers Pond. For all around fishing for all species which one would you go to, or any other suggestions?

I would say Mitchell and Cadillac. They are both great pike lakes, but also hold a big selection of just about every other freshwater species you can think of. Plus, they are conneceted by a very short channel that you can drive a boat through.

Tough call but considering I just got back from Fletchers I would have to give that the nod. I did very well with Bass, Pike, Slab Bluegill and Sunfish (probably the biggest panfish I have ever caught!)

My only beef with Fletchers is that there are not enough Perch and no Walleye at all.

How fishable is fletchers in like june/july with the weeds coming in, is it real bad, or so so?

I usually fish Fletchers in June/July/August timeframe and I didnt really notice that big of difference going this early in late May.

Since I have done the weekend fishing trip on Mitchell/Cadillace twice last year....Stayed at the cabin first time then at "hemlock national forest" second time. I would have to say Fletchers since I have never been there.
