Going on my honeymoon June 28th and we have a cabin and pontoon for a week on the Hardy Pond. I want to buy a fishfinder that I can take that I don't have to install on the boat, is there any like that that work decent?

I have a Humminbird 535 portable that attaches via suction cup. I would advise you wrap the cord around something to limit how far the transducer will trail behind the boat, or to keep it from entering the prop area should it break suction. Mine uses lantern batteries and typically uses two a day, if you fish all day, kind of expensive, which is why I ended up just getting a Lowrance X67C and a deep cycle. I suppose you could look at that option as well and find a way to mount the tranducer on a 1X2 and c-clamp it to the back somehow. Either way you look at it, the cost will be about the same.
