While bass fishing Big Whitefish Lake on Mem. Day... MSUnolimit found out that there really are walleye in the lake. And given this fish's size (just under 16") it HAS to be a naturally born fish and not a plant. The last time I can see that the DNR planted this lake was 1996. Oh yeah... he caught it on a drop shot rig in about 15' of water!!!

Good Job posting that now there are gonna be 20 extra boats launched in the next few days in pursuit of that one remaining walleye in the whole stinking lake.

Get ALL of them out of that lake, so I don't have to catch them when I'm targeting bass.

I think next time I go to that lake, I'm going to have a rod w/ a 2oz bell sinker tied to the end of it...I realize that there's increased boat traffic on holidays, but I have no patience for boats buzzing by us with only 20-30' of distance (on a few occasions). The best was the guy who made 2 passes by us, CLOSELY, with 2 little kids in a tube...COMMON SENSE folks...COMMON SENSE

Oh...there's some perch in there too. And apparently they've got a very LARGE appetite... (This fish HIT the bait...Somehow I felt it on the St. Croix Avid I was using).

About a 3" perch that hit a 1/2oz Orange Craw Rip-N-Shad.

Waterfoul, he doesn't happy that you dragged him to a walleye/perch lake by the way he's flipping you off in that picture! So you guys proved there are walleye in there, but any bass?? No worries about seeing me at the launch there, way too far for me to travel...for bass.

I use to night fish it with my buddies in the mid 90's and we always used to get a couple. Biggest one I got of there was 24" on a minnow and bobber pike fishing during the middle of the day. Used to see a few spearing trash fish with the shining light.
