turkey hunting in the traverse region was cold, wet, and windy all week. heard a few good stories. the birds are not talking but you can still get them. i had more luck driving and calling out the window than at the "hotspots". i called in 7 birds on two spots and bagged a decent bird on tuesday. 20#, 10" beard and 1" spurs. any other tc guys score? any other guys getting those birds on stalks? i did!

thanks for the responses guys. i already got a bird that is 12" beard and 1 and 1/4 " spurs. now i will have two mounts. the guy from williamsburg i know some really good spots if u are still hunting. write back and i'll fill you in. try off moore road/72 to the dirt roads back there. bunker hill road thru to 72 just drive and spot the birds.

hey primo, go to the junkyard at the end of moore road and ask them guys if it is alright to hunt. i got permission from them but decided to hunt by ranch rudolph and drove around in that area. just calling out the window. try by carpenter creek road and that corner area. there are trophies over there too. i got one and seeen at least 4 beards dragging near the ground. let me know how you did.
