WALLEYEvision

Thought this might get more views here. :D
Walleyevision and I were talking about putting on a Walleye Tourney, with a fish fry afterwards. With summer coming upon us(hopefully), I was looking at the calendar and thought that maybe Sunday,August 17th, would be a good date. This way, hopefully the majority of vacations would be done, and maybe more people could show up.
We figured we could start early in the morning, Have the weigh in at about 1pm at the Algonac State Park, then whoever wants to donate their fish, it would be filleted up, then into the hot oil!!!
We wanted to make this a family affair, so have your other half and the kids meet up with us, maybe bring a side dish to pass, and have a good time!!!!
Matt and I would donate 1st through 3rd place trophys.(nothing fancy, just an acknowledgment type thing)
Algonac State Park has plenty of parking, for both cars and boats attached. http://www.michigandnr.com/Publications/PDFS/RecreationCamping/algonac_map.pdf Also, if some of us wanted to camp for the weekend, theres no better place. You'd be right there for our little tourney!!! Also, they have a shooting range, both for archery(targets supplied) and trap(bring your own clays and throwers).
Anybody interested?????
