Marysville ramp eats tires!

My neighbor just got back in from a morning of fishing. He got skunked by the way. He blew a tire trying to launch this morning on the ramp.:yikes: Apparently there is rebar sticking up somewhere in the north bay that sliced his sidewall.:dizzy: I noticed last night when I launched that there was a chunk of concrete loose in the middle of the lane, but really didn't think much about it. Needless to say he was not a happy camper. I'm going to swing by the ramp some time today and take a look for myself. Hopefully the launch attendant has called somebody to get it fixed. :help:

They never fixed the dock so a boat couldn't get under it and sink if the water was pulled out by a passing freighter!!
Why on earth would they worry about the ramp? They've made enough money from that ramp over the years and not put much if any back into it. I'm sure it's paid for it self a few times over & over........Bob B.

We noticed that steel sticking up to. It helps launching with two guys so you can watch it. I hope they fix it soon.
