How to catch crappie after the spawn?

Small 1inch twisters on 1/32oz. jig heads. CD3 rapala countdowns and mister twister micro shad I've found work great after the spawn. I think a big key, especially in clear water is light line, I don't go lighter than 4lb ever but you might want to try and fluorocarbon line if the water is REALLY clear. Work the baits slowly as you can and keep changing colors. I buy all my soft plastics for panfish in bulk and buy at least 6-7 colors. Colors that have worked best for me are purple, pumpkin-pepper, chartreuse, orange, black, and white. - Bryon

I use the 1/32 oz pink and white fuzzy grubs. Also beetle spins and roadrunners work well in darker water.
