I will be hosting a Law Enforcement 3-d Bow shoot to Benefit The Thin Blue Line of Michigan (tblofmi.com) and Youth Archery Programs in the Mid-Michigan Area. The Thin Blue Line is a organization that assist law enforcement members families in times of Crisis such as a Officer being killed in the line of Duty. The Shoot will be at Whitetail Archery located in Gratiot County at 6530 Begole Rd in Perrinton on June 14th 2008. The shoot will be outdoors with 30 3-d targets starting at 10 am with only the one shooting line. This will be a team shoot with teams being made up with 4 members. Cost is $100.00 per team, which includes lunch. There are prizes and a trophy for the winning team and many other prizes to be raffled off. Thus far i have received donations from PSE, Carbon Express, Easton, Therma Cell, Jays sporting Goods and many more. This shoot is open to the public the only restriction is hunting set ups only on Bows. No lens/scopes allowed. All teams will be shooting from the Hunter Class stakes. If you know anyone in Law enforcement this is a great way to show your support of them and all they do to protect you and your loved ones. Being a Sheriff Deputy myself i can say a THANK YOU once in a while, though not need is still greatly appreciated.
