dustbuster - Check this site out they have an article on that very subject that you can print, www.flinthills.com/~ramsdale/Turkeys/turkey (http://www.flinthills.com/~ramsdale/Turkeys/turkey)
I printed one last year and put it in a plastic sleeve and keep it at camp as a memory refresher.

Hey Nailer,
I'm interested in seeing that info, but the website you gave came up with an error. Any insight?

plucking the bird is the way to go.I dry pluck my bird as soonas possible<i can do it in about 45 minutes.pluking leaves on the skin, which keeps in moisture during cooking.i do my birds on the grill using the rotisserie at 300 degrees for 6 hours.no basting needed, the constant turning locks in the juices.even the colonel would be proud.

Thanks! Found just what I was looking on that last page you gave, Nailer. I printed info on plucking, field dressing and prep for taxidermy. All will be good discussion topics to pass around the campfire this weekend.
