Less stringent on the number of pictures to qualify, one picture necc. showing beard and bird. Unless we are playing for $$$ no need to have all the requirements of mulitple pictures, if others want to show off their bird with multiple pics, great, but to get points for a fun contest, lets just make it a good picture of beard and bird.

I was looking for one just on the beard but there was not an option! Now if we want to throw in some prizesor money leave it the way it is..

NWTF measurements are pretty good, but weighing the birds is gonna be an issue. People over-estimate weights DRAMATICALLY! Seems like everyone shoots a 25 lb bird. I've got news for ya....A 25 lb turkey is HUGE. I've personally never seen one go over 25 lbs on a certified scale. IMO, a 25 lb turkey is almost as rare as a 250 lb buck (I said almost, I dont want to start an arguement) If you require a photo of the bird on a certified scale, I've got no probs.

I'd like to see it stay the same.
I'm still waiting to see a set of 1 1/2" spurs against a tape measure.:yikes:
Having to take the bird to town for weighing would be too much of a pain.
I think you did a fine job. Thanks for the fun !

Weight really has nothing to do with it........Do they weigh your P&Y buck in a big buck contest?.......Or do you hear someone shot a P&Y that was 285 pounds.....no all you hear about is the antlers...JMO.........Mack
One contest that I am involved in uses N.W.T.F. scoring, but without the weight. We just email the measurement pics to the guy running the contest, then he posts the kill pics only in one thread....seems to run smooth this way.
