Well all the last of the first year rookies scored on a wet, cold and windy friday.I took a 17 lb, 3 inch jake on friday afternoon. Could not compete with the neighbors 23lb, 7 inch beard, and 1inch spurs he took on wednesday. But still not complaining for a first year success.I called in a hen, four jakes, and two mature toms across the field. The toms turned around about sixty yards out, but the hen and jakes came in. Finally one jake gave me a clear shot. So far turkey hunting is great except for the rain had in the last few days. Hey Trout how do we get the pics posted if we do not have a scanner, I would like to post both birds. Good luck to everybody else the rest of the season. I will just have to just go fishing next weekend for walleye opener. Bye BAYDOG.

Congradulations, Baydog! I got my first turkey last year, sounds like a twin to yours. I hope to score again in May.

BAYDOG,
Great Job!!!! Glad you got your bird. I'm
getting my turkey today. My wife is cooking
a turkey dinner for Easter!!!! Going out
tommorrow and hopefully bag one of my own.
Don't have to work tommorrow and the weather
will be nice so wish me luck. My permit runs till May 15th, so I have plenty of time. Can't wait to see your pictures.
