Back yard Morels from hell!

Me and my 4 year old boy had a good find today! My buddy has yet to cut his 3 acre lawn and we found these in the yard :SHOCKED: How sweet! 70 in 10 min's!!!!!!That's what i'm talking. The kid had a blast finding em. Now the other 4 want to go out with us LoL! To cool!

I had seen a few in his yard last year along the tree line so knew to check it out again. I haven't had much luck in the woods yet this year for em. I have one in my back yard growing under the pine tree but waiting for it to fatin up.
The 5 kids are gonna cover some woods this weekend :lol:
I split em to dry em for winter cooking.

I don't have many, but the rest that I saved I dried out as well for some nice steaks later on this summer. Maybe I'll find some more. :) I strung mine up and hung them in front of a fan to dry. I was amazed at how fast they dry. The next day they were shriveled crispy things!:lol:

Congrats on the find, especially for your four year old. This time of year you never where they might grow. What a great excuse for not mowing the lawn though. :) Good luck to all .............
