Shotguns

I'm going to start turkey hunting this sping, but not with a shotgun, yet (not old enough). I have a small budget, and want to know if you could use a turkey gun, to also hunt deer? Nad what would be a good gun to use?

The Remington 870 combo with a 28" choke tube barrel and a rifle sighted, short (20"?) slug barrel is a great set up, and a good buy. This was my first "big" gun, and it made a lot of meat. It still does!!!

I checked your profile and it didn't say where you were from in Michigan, but if there are any second hand/resale shops that carry arms, you can often find a good deal there. I picked up my Mossberg 835 with 3 tubes for less than $200 (black synthetic stock, parkerized)and it has proven to be a reliable and effective shotgun.
