Hi all... Theres snow on the ground and expecting more throu the rest of the week. Would the snow and the cold weayher stop them from gobbling and chasing the hens. Just wondering what to expect next monday the 17. Any experience from past seasons. Thanks in advance. BAYDOG Ps: Any outdoor experience is a good experience.

Baydog:
I did a little scouting today in Barry County, with .5" snow on ground, more falling...saw plenty of turkeys, including lonesome jakes...if anything, tracking was a no-brainer, especially following the scratch-scrapes where they foraged, where they crossed dirt roads, where they entered/exited. But they were awfully quiet. I tried to elicit gobbles without success. I relied more on my ears-it was so still, you could hear their wings flapping, soft hen cutt & purrs...I left feeling torqued and ready to roll.
But I would prefer a return of ordinary spring wearher.
