Apples and oranges Bro! Many restaurants are selling white perch fillets as lake perch!!! Haven't seen any silver bass on the menu.

Silver bass are silver with a white body, and black stripes down the body. White perch often look pale and off white. White perch are smaller too and rarely get above 10 inches.

White Perch also have a little purple chin. Flip em over and look at their bottom lip.
