All over today, 3 foot of water or less. Didn't see any slabs, but several in the 8-10 inch range. Had nothing but crawlers on me, they didn't want any of that. Seemed to be hitting any bug that hit the water, might give the fly rod a go tomorrow.

I was out there the 4th I think it was and the fishing was terrible, seen some nice fish but nothing would bite. How did you end up doing? I don't even know where to catch the crappie on that lake, just the gils and the bass, and something else that nobody fishes for on that lake, pm me and we can talk if you'd like.

Rob try a white bucktail streamer. Let it settle for a min. then start twitching it back, it won't get far.

I might be out there this weekend, if not there then mott lake but I'll either be in a 14' aluminum with camo paint or red canoe with my brother, my names Brian give me a holler.

Do you guys have better luck fishing this lake in the a.m. or the p.m. because I plan on going out saturday and sunday but dont do as well in the morning as I do in the evening. Do you guys have similar luck?

I have "luck" anytime at that lake, just not with the bigger fish, lol. I'm heading out in about 10 minutes with an old fly rod, rigged with a spinning reel to dip some minnows. We'll see how i do.
