A buddy's wife called me the other day and she wants to set up a fly-in Canada fishing trip for late summer for her husband's birthday. Can anyone give me any suggestions on lodges/outfitters that you have used and would suggest? Thanks,

We have been going to nagagammi lake in northern ont. for 13 or so years now.Great fishing for walleye and pike short 20 minute plane ride and excellant service from Waltons Kay Vee lodge. They have good 16ft. Lunds 20 h.p motors American or housekeeping plans at a very reasonable price. The lake is about 7 miles long and 2 to three miles wide with 3 rivers flowing into it.Its located about 250 miles north of the Soo in Hornepayne ,Ontario. The cabins are great with all the conviences of home.

Did you fly out of Government Lake? We went to White Owl Lake. It was an outpost cabin. Didnt see another fisherman besides us 4 for a week:D We could portage to another lake or go up river to another. And not one soul.

www.gogama.com (http://www.gogama.com)

fly into a different lake everyday. The best cooking period.

I highly recommend them!

I've fished with Artic Watershed outposts for the last 5 years. They fly out of Nakina and have about 6-7 different lakes to choose from. Nice and secluded lakes. A very friendly outfitter, you should check 'em out.

A group of members from this site went two different years to Kaby Kabins. Great outfitters and will go again!
Do a search on here and read about our trips!
