I took my five year old son out turkey hunting Sunday. No birds but we did stumble upon a very nice mess of Morels!! He had fun picking them and I even got him to try one out of the pan. Actually, thats exactly what I did when I returned home Sunday. Monday I layed them over a store bought T-bone since I am out of backstrap. Now if I could only find some more. I have a question. Do you find all morels in the same areas and conditions? My experiences have been limited to Black Morels only. Just wondering.

I do not go north for blacks,find plenty of greys/yellows in local areas. Learn howq to identify the dead or dying Elm, and you should be getting into them. Unless of course,if someone beats you them. Good luck. leonard
