Will the Pistons finally bring it, or will they fall back into the "flip the switch" trap?
I say they'll BRING IT. (if flip doesn't interfere);)

Well, looks like they might be able to handle the Magic with ease. Playing damn good ball tonight. Up by 20 in the 4th.

I didnt get to watch the game, but it sounds like Flip lit into them during a timeout after Turkeyglue went the length of the court for a dunk while Billups and Sheed just watched. Not sure how much these guys actually listen to Flip, but maybe, just maybe, he got their attention and they responded.
On the other side, it looks like this game was a wakeup call for the Magic after a relatively easy series with the Raptors. Look for game 2 to be much closer.
'Stones in 6.

BUT.... Howard didn't finish the game and left with a big ole wrap and ice on his hand... if he can't play a game or two the Majic don't stand a chance. He's their entire inside game.
We had a pretty balanced attack. Everyone added something. Sheed played some good D in the Middle. Maxi had a big 4th. Overall a good way to set the tone for the series. Stones were gonna win that game weather howard was in there or not. Question was only by how much.

Lets see that the rest of the playoffs and a title is within reach.

I totally agree. But without Howard Orlando doesn't stand a chance of winning this series.

2-0 The Ballers from the D win game two!
Gonna be an interesting game tonight. Not sure what to expect with C Bill
having a hammy injury. The others are goona have to step it up a notch to fill in for him. Dont see C.Bill playing in this game. Depending on how severe
the pull is it may be better in the long run to rest him. This will be a good game for Sheed to step up and put the team on his back and carry them.
But ya never know what Sheed will show up. I like Stuckeys game, but he's still young and his in expirence shows at times. I would like to see him take it to the rack as much as possable. Put the pressure on the majics bigs to stop him, make them play D. Also feed Sheed in the post to make Howard defend him.

Whew... Great comeback but I feel worn out after that one. Tayshaun's winning shot looked like a slider, not a hook.

Up 3-1, I say Billups should also sit Game 5, if the Stones can beat Orlando on the road w/out him, the crowd at home should pump them up enough to get it done in 5. Well rested hamstring for Billups, and we can sit and wait while Boston and Cleveland go 6-7 games...

I totally agree. Billups should sit out, no question. They won't be able to beat Boston or Cleveland with him at less than 90-100 %

Yeah, but, you don't want Billups getting too rusty or anything. You could tell how badly he wanted to be in there last game. Billups basically said if he can run, he will play. It doesn't sound too bad, a slight strain, a few days rest with icing and stretching will heal that up fine, i think he will be good to go for game 5 and the Stones should be able to close out the series in 5 like i believe someone predicted(as in me :)).
I agree they need Billups healthy in the next 2 rounds if they want to bring home the trophy. Once again, after game 5 if they win, they will probably get a good week off to heal injuries. They can definitely win without him, but, Billups is a player, he wants to play and probably will. We all just have to hope he doesn't reagrrevate it. I would expect him to not play more than 30 minutes if he does play and not take too many shots, just try and set other guys up.
Lets see, Cleveland has no one to match up with Billups, Boston has no one to match up with Billups, the Lakers has no one to match up with Billups...like i said, he is the key to a championship. The only PG remaining who can guard Billups to some effectiveness is Deron Williams, i had the Jazz going all the way since the start of the season. Utah is the team that scares me the most, just because the typical mismatches the stones have won't be too effective. Lets see Deron vs. Chauncey; like i said, he is the only pg left hat can match up to him on offense, Tay vs. Kirlinko; AK47 is an excellent defender that can match up to Tay. However, no one on the Jazz(or any team) can match up with Sheed. No question Sheed will be the key to that series, along with Rip. I think the Stones can take everyone else down...again, the Jazz will be very tough, if that ends up being the matchup, Pistons in 7 very hard faught, close games...

Pistons have no chance against the Jazz in the finals. They get thumped like a drum by 'em every time they've played the last 2-3 seasons. No team in the league has our number like the Jazz.
First time ever, I'm rooting for Kobe.

Ah yes, the farmlegend knows his B-ball. He is correct.
The Jazz have had our number for a few seasons now. We just dont play well against them. And they dont lose at home!!
I would rather play LA, then NO than SA, and the Jazz last!!!
