Ok...so here's my day.
I go down state <Adrian near> to my hunting partners farm, help him with a few things then we pattern our shotguns, watch calling videos and "hone" our skills.
All satisfied we are ready for the hunt we take a run to a small feild some dood wants him to plow and plant. We get there and are talkin to the guy in the middle of the feild and you guessed it *Gobble*. I thought I was hallucinating. We looked at each other and I asked the guy if he had turkeys. His reply was, "no thats that danged old wild turkey. Comes to my back door every afternoon, hangs out around the chickens then roosts on my back porch". Sure enough I looked up towards his house and it was shock gobbleing to the chickens cackle.This guy has an 18# tom with about a 10" beard that sleeps on his back porch.
Next weekend I'm going back to practice my "technique" on him decoy and all but until then I'm building a back porch on my turkey blind and adding a chicken coop for good measure!
