NBA Playoffs. Couple of thoughts..

Suprised that the Mavs went down to the Hornets. Thats two 1st round loses for the Mavs in the last 2 years. Thought they were better than that.
Guess i was wrong. I knew the Hornets we're pretty good, just thought that the Mavs would win. Thought the Hornets were a year away. Hats off to Chris Paul. Guys gonna be a Hall of Famer if he keeps it up.

Spurs over the Suns. Knew the Spurs would win that thing. suns just dont have enough game to win against a solid team like the Spurs. Suns can be fun to watch and can put tons of points up, but come playoff time, ya gotta play some D to win. Never quite did understand Shaq's role on the Suns??? Steve Nash needs to learn how to play D. At times he looks totally lost out there.

Lakers vs the Nuggets. Watched Kobe and he looks like he's on top of his game. Didnt think they would get by Denver so easy.

Celtics vs Hawks. Tied up. Who would have thought? Just as im wonder
how the stones could lose two to the 76'ers, the Celts are tied with the
Hawks. Hope the Hawks give the all they can handle.

Why are the Pistons not on TV????

They are showing every other stinking game on the planet but the stones get stuck on NBA TV - which is a subscription channel?

At least I had the Tigs and the Wings to watch last night!

I'm not real surprised with any of the series. I though Phoenix would put up more of a fight but that was about it.....

Mel,, did you watch any of that Lakers series?? Denver's defense was HILARIOUS!!:lol: I've never seen a team play defense so bad on a consistant basis in my life.

My thoughts exactly Blueump. It is BS that the suns vs spurs was on and not the Pistons. I was lucky enough to watch it at my buddies on Direct TV. They looked great. RIP and Chancey tore it up again as did Maxiell. I sure hope that the Celtics loose to the Hawks.

Billy B... Yes, i watched 2 of the games and parts of others. As i stated, Kobe looked like he was on top of his game. But, you have a very good point, Denvers D was crap. Perhaps thats why Kobe looked so unstoppable?
As much as i like watching some of those "run and gun" teams, like the Suns and the Warriors, you just gotta play some D when you get into the playoffs.
