Whipping in Algonac

Headed out last night with Crusher whipping for the first time out this year. Not much to report. We only fished until 9:30 and got skunked. It will pick up soon I'm sure.

I agree with Pplugger. Only reason to get out there before dark is to get to your favorite fishin' hole before someone else gets there. LOL! And any caught before then, is a bonus. Action will pick up once the weather stabilizes a bit.

Went jigging about 5pm on 5-1-08 got 1 fish.set up for whipping at nunnlys hole got 2 hits left at 11 pm still a bit slow in the river.Took 1 fish home.

Go Red Wings! Deepwoods glad to hear you are getting out. Next time bring the radio. Be sure to watch for Cookie and I before the next wings home game. We will be floating by the Joe with our Wings jersey on!
