Has anybody been walleye fishing in Mott since the opener? Was thinking about giving it a shot, never fished there before but just wanted to go out and troll some harnesses or maybe some cranks.
Thanks guys,
-Brian
Went out there Sunday afternoon. Caught three walleyes only one being legal. Also a bluegill and a catfish. Talked to another boat and they had caught three but no keepers. Guy working the booth said they had caught walleyes Saturday. We trolled spinners and a few jigs. Fish were caught around 8' of water.

This lake is under fished. Once you find them you will have a great time. You have to remember the fish are just now leaving the river. (hint):fish:
