Wild Turkey Hunting

OK...... We don't have a wild deer hunting season, wild partridge, wild beaver trapping, or wild any thing else season that I know of. Why do we have a wild turkey season? :confused:

Airoh - Maybe they call it that so we distinguish the ones w/ feathers from the ones carrying guns!!!!!! ;)
