Well, I had planned on fishing Saturday morning at Slick's secret spot. Unfortunately, Friday night while shutting the walk through door in my garage, I sustained an injury.:sad: I had the door propped open with a bucket to get some air circulation. I held the door with my left hand and bent over to move the bucket. I was slowly shutting the door to clear the bucket, and you guessed it - it got within about 12" and the door sucked closed with my thumb between the jam and the door. :yikes: I spent Saturday morning at the doctor's office getting my nail drilled to relieve the pressure. By then it was too late to think about going out, and my thumb hurt so bad all I could think about was it :dizzy:. Ended up getting out at about 7:30pm. Fished just south of Lincoln Park til about 10:30 or 11. Had one bump and that was it. Saw two other boats loading while I was there and they got skunked as well. I wanted to get up Sunday and go but just couldn't force myself to get up. I'm a little PO'd with myself for not going on such a beautiful day. I need a regular fishing partner that will be counting on me to get my butt out of bed :help: as motivation!
