Picked up another 2 jigging in Algonac. Started around 5pm and picked 1 up right away on the first pass. Then didn't get another until about 7pm. Action was much slower tonight than last night, saw fewer fish being caught. They were also hitting a lot lighter, had 5 or 6 nice strikes that just didn't set.

Green/Chartreuse Jig with a Smokin Shad Zoom Fluke.

Saw Unreel running up the north channel.

Good job on the fish. I was in uptown Algonac just before dark and talked to one boat that was retrieving. Two guys with 8 walleyes, a sucker and a pike. I wll be out sunday morning. Probably with IFN on board unless he is fishing the tournament with Walleye-vision.

Nice to hear you are getting out there Brian.

I am looking to get out there myself, just dont like to be out in the weekend warrior boat brigade, so I might just do yard work for a day or 2 then fish a couple days.

Sounds like it's firing up in Algonac...might just try it Sunday. Did you mark many fish:confused:
