Just wondering here......... The Thames gets a good run of waldos. Why is it you never hear of people fishing out in the lake around the mouth in the early season? Bunch of closed lips or am I even more nuts than I thought?

Because its a long way to go to catch something most of us can do in our backyards. Eliminate the canadian license, 1 hr each way, and about $200 in fuel I'm sure it would be a hotspot!!

Because crossing the Atlantic in a 16ft aluminum is treacherous, to say the least. Besides, I hear the River Thames is overcrowded and fished out because of loose lips on the internet.

I fished a couple times off Trembly beach which is just west of the river. Kind of the same situation as off metro bech but a lot less boats.
