Early Blacks

Starting to find some of the early blacks, Haven't had much time to look but found four on saturday and 21 today in the milan area. 1.5-2" range.

A little rain and it should be good!

They are out. I found 22 today up by TC. They were very fresh. We need rain very bad.

Went back to my spot in Milan and added 32 more blacks to the fridge today, Up to 3". The greys are not going to be too far away now. As I was picking the morelsI could hear a turkey gobbling and he eventually made his way to about 75 yards from where I was picking. Had about a 9-10" beard.

we got the rain up here we badly needed. this weekend is going to be prime for big blacks!!!

We got some rain but I don't know if is enough to really get 'em going. then add thwe lows in the 30's in a couple of night's.

I will be out looking though.

After work I am going to pick up a couple of Porter houses for the grill to go with the morels tomorrow! My mouth is already watering.
