Hunt 234 license?>?>?>?

I did not have the luck to get drawn. I got what most people I know got - the "pink card". I have read the book and gone to the DNR site and I am still confused about this Hunt number 234.

Can anyone shed some light on this 234 for me??

I have to hunt "234" for the fifth year in a row. This is becomming a real drag (lots of foliage, bugs, terrified turkeys). I would really like to see the MDNR modify the drawing system to "grow" with the increase in turkey hunters every year. It seems to me that they give away the same number of permits in my area (K) that they did when I started hunting gobblers 13 years ago. I have to guess that the number of applicants has probably trippled since then (at least). What they should do is make it a weighted system so that folks who didn't draw the previous year get drawn first. I'm ready to throw in the towel and go south to hunt, a real pitty since we support the turkey flock in our immediate area year round.
