I am going out again this afternoon and this time I'm fishing deeper water (25-40) and I'm going to run my half cores on boards along with my deep divers on boards.

My question is should I run my half cores outside or inside of my deep divers on boards? I was planning on running my usual deep thunderstick jr's and hot n tots on my boards, but I don't want to get lines crossed if I were to get fish on my furthest outside boards, whether it's core or deep divers.

Any advice? I could always try one on the outside and the other on the inside and learn by trial and error, but I was wondering what you guys thought.

Thanks,

Tom

I would run the deep divers outside the half cores. Even long lined they should still run higher than the half core. If you add snap weights you can run them inside too though.

I run my deepest setup on the inside.
When something gets hit it will come up then to the back.
I can run 4 to 6 out one side as long as I have the deepest rig inside.
This goes for lead--copper--drop balls--high lines.
Thinking this way allows you to run different setups.
The biggest problem most people do is slow down when a fish hits letting it catch up with everything.

It sounds like you are running 2 boards per side. Try running the deep diving plugs on one side and the core on the other. In my experience diving plugs and core don't mix very well.

He might be ok if he runs the bodybaits way back so there above the half-cores.Ortherwise if your short off the boards ya will probaly end up birdnested.

Went out of PS tonight, got one coho right off the bat in 30 fow on a slidediver and stinger spoon. Not a single hit after that, I fished from 40 fow to 8, with out a taker.

I ran the deep divers on the outside with the half cores on the inside...no tangles at all. The lake was completely flat and that helped.

Thanks again
