Should be able to rack up some points with this group.
Im good for a Jake with a 0.5" Beard
It'll be hard to fine one that nice but I have been doing my Homework..

I'll let you use the one I shot last year, not quite 0.5 inches though. I have that little guy in Brad's deep freeze and it looks like a freakin frozen chicken. I am a loser, but not this year. I'm bringin the A game.

Tankhunter, I saw a redhead lastnight coming out of the blueberry patch and flew over the road. Maybe you could talk to Matt and see if anyone is hunting that this spring. I'm sure the birds are stacked in there. Let me know what you think.

Yeah Man, Matt wouldnt care alls you have to do is ask him. I think the only person that has permission to hunt back there right now is Troy so you are probably already good to go.

Look, its obvious that your the last person that anyone one this team is counting on, so do us all a favor and just don't do anything stupid. For example..... You trying to shoot a jake that is on the run at fifty yards with your mud-plugged gun when I'm sitting 15 yards ahead of you.

Fair enough, that is why I am using a bow this year. I apologize for you coming out of the closet on this forum, I shouldn't have made it public without your permission, that was wrong and I apologize, but let's not forget the fact that at the end of the day you still drink homo milk.

We are a team, Team Sniffin Tailfethers and we need to get along so we need to drop the trashtalk and the fact that I broke dad's gun lastyear, that's in the past, I'm ready to move on.

I also believe that you need to thank me for the majority of your success, without my time consuming scouting and stand preperation, you would be screwed. So a nice "thanks stinky" is in order.

I know that the other guys on the team are really nervous that I am a member of sniffin tailfeathers, but I'm here to prove you guys wrong. The frozen chicken in the freezer from lastyear is a constant reminder of how big of a loser I am. To show you the dedication that I have, I am going to promote myself to Sniffin' Tailfeathers Captain.

I love all of you and I hope that you guys are behind me 100%. I am going to show you I can do it, I promise!!

RJSwirlz have you thought about practicing with your Guillotines if that's possible or are you thinking the 12 guage is the weapon of choice?? Also, I was looking at my fan from last year's bird and was wondering what we needed to do to that so it'll work on B-Mobile. I believe that is going to be a huge ticket to our success during our seasons.

Troy, went for a drive lastnight to the state land and thought someone was stealing your duckblind, but the guy was fishing right next to it.

B-Mobile was strutting in my back yard last evening trying to work the creases out.. All we need to do is trim the bottoms of the feathers and insert them in the fan holder and we're good to go. It looks so much better than that bs silk fan so we should definitely do it. It shouldn't take more than 3 busch lights so we'll do it before my hunt starts.

With you being the team captain I feel that you are being irresponsible in that you do not know what weapon you are using, let alone practicing with either. You guys need to take this more seriously and give the animals the respect they deserve for a clean and fast HARVEST.:evil::evil:

You need to buy 11 or 12 boxes of different loads and pattern them ALL to see what works best in your specific shotgun. If you are bowhunting you should be shooting 500-600 shots a day and make sure to practice in all lighting and weather conditions.

I am shooting my bow and the PSE is money. I know I can whack anything that is within 30 yards of the blind. I practice twice a week and go through several shots in my head while I sleep. I have no doubt that my skills will shine through when need be. There is no LOL or LMFAO involved and if you're not careful, we will no longer be BFF.

Another busy day at work I see Ryan. You are very talented, you never seise to amaze.

I am sliming down a bit I have found a couple things that works well for me. The first is being to broke to eat and the second is having a solid support group of family and friends behind me. I could never do it without you guys, this team and contest means so much to me. This is and will continue to be a truely life changing experience.

We will be sucker spearing Sat. night, the only problem is that I broke my zipper on my backpack and I don't think I can get a whole 30 pack of Busch in there now. I think I will start a post and see if anyone can help me with this.

Donny looks really pissed in our pic from last year, I wonder if he is still mad about the whole KY jelly thing at turkey camp.

It has been a slow morning here Troy, mostly because our customers don't normally wake up until after 1 pm. Our team captain Stinky Reinke has asked me to post a picture that he says will be the bird that he's going to shoot this year. I pulled a Reinke. I feel like such a jack ryan, I choked on a big fat hairy tony.
I did not just miss once, I missed twice at the same bird. He was not the biggest one though so I guess it could be worse.

Over 100 gobbles by 8 gobblers off the roost. Had 4 jakes, 2 toms, and 5 hens come out by the pond and see T-Mobile. They gobbled and strutted at every sound I made all the way across the field (100 yards). All on video it was awesome, I drew and when he approched rhe decoys I let him have it at about 9 yards.

I got nothing but wing feathers, and the second shot he was walking and I shot behing him.

saw my bird with 9 lives again this morning on my way to work. He was strutting with a hen about 30 yards from my tent at 9:00. I did notice that his left wing was missing a few feathers and there appeared to be something slightly wrong with his front end.:evil:

Maybe the third time will be a charm and I can put him down, tomorrow I will have the bow and the gun - I have a liitle pent up anger to send his way!!

Tomorrow a.m. I will end the misery that has become this years turkey hunt. He is ready to die and I am ready to kill him. I am taking 7 shells for the gun because he has 9 lives and I have already killed him twice with the bow.

Well team , I have not written much on this thread, because I save my braging and bullshitting for after the hunt. ;)I have been chasing this bird all week and every time he has been about 80 yards away. I have never had such a frustrating season untill, finally this morning I had everything right. I gave up with the bow and picked up old faithful. I did not want too, yet I could not take much more heartbreak and getting so mad. Me and Bubs headed out to one of our honey holes and set up near the roost. I set out two hens and before long it was getting light. Had to hear about 50+ gobbles, and then they all flew down in the gully 60 yards in front of us. I had the 2 long beards, 6 jakes all fired up. The first thing I saw over the hill was a full tail and then a white head. Shortly they came right in the the decoys. All of the jakes were 20yds, and the big boy stayed back alittle, yet not far enough. Dropped him like a ton of bricks at 30yds and I did a little dance. He is right up there with all my other monsters with an,

Opening morning, also guided my buddy to his first. It had a 7 1/2" beard, and he was juiced. Now its big Bubbas turn, and believe me when I say that there are still some big boys around here. I have seen them all and one is pushing 12". Heading out now to get him, so I will get my pics on here later tonight.

We did o.k. The weather was better than expected but the fishing was not. We boated two silver fish by 6:30, one 5 pound king and a 3 pound coho and we did not have another release until 9:00. We missed that one off the board and then caught a 10 pound laker at about 10:30 and that was it. We had a lot of fun and drank a few beers. Great day on the water. I have a tourney this weekend but after that you need to get up here and maybe we can get Tony out one of these years.

Hey Swirls, If your paying then you need to come and let me be your guide. I just got back from guiding Bubba to his 9 3/4" bird. Lets just say that this has been a decent year!!!:lol::lol:. We have one more tag to fill for my other buddy and there are still some big ones. We are going after them in the morning. ;);).

Back up off of my clients Junior, RJ has always been one of mine and I do believe that I am his favorite Guide. I have put him on top of turkeys and deer his entire hunting career. Spikehorns and Jakes galore!!!

Stinky.....Sounds like from the posts that someone shot a nice bird on the state land that you have been relentlessly scouting for me. It's your job as my exclusive guide to make sure that no one even comes remotely close to shooting another 10" plus bearded Tom. I don't care what it takes, if you can't guarantee a trophy turkey, then I will have to search for guide services elsewhere. Junior, if Stinky puts me on 15 jakes my first two days, you can be expecting a phone call.

RJ, you need to call Carl tonight to see if he is still alive and when you're talking to him, tell him that I lost my phone and that I did not go walleye fishing lastweekend and that's why I didn't get ahold of him.
Also, went out to deer camp lastnight and that place is dead, saw one turkey track but it was small. That was it, ANgelo and Robert hunted out there over the weekend and they saw 2 hens that's it.
Also, just got a pm from the guy who shot his bird on stateland and he said it was on a different peice of stateland so don't worry, nobody has been hunting "our" woods. He also said he would take me out there, but he would go and do the calling and stuff and it's 2.5 miles on the bike, I can feel my balls aching right now just thinking about it.

Dude........I think you should call Carl first. I haven't talked to him in long time, mostly because he actually thinks I'm going to give him 3 grand that I'll never see again, so I really think you should step up and talk to him. I'll give you his number again if you need it. Not a big surprise about deer camp, they've probably been trying to push birds off of their roosts just before dawn. Those suckers love pushing woods at all times of the year. Glad to hear about the state land. Are you going to have a bike for me again? I'm still waiting for those pictures Tank & Tank & Tank. When is Donny's hunt?

Stinky......How'd the interview go? I couldn't remember if Harbor Beach was the McDonald's or Wendy's interview, but hopefully I'll have a place where I can get a free double cheeseburger or spicy chicken in the near future. I don't think I'm going to make it up to Sandtown until Friday now. I really thought my ol' man would be back to work by now, but now he's just learning how much fun it is to wake up at 10:30 am, smoke one, eat some frosted flakes and watch the price is right. That's fine about coming up on Fri, I have to work on THursday. Tamie and J.O. will be in town for the weekend, Jamie's wedding shower is on Sun. Saturday night we got a bus and we're going on a bar crawl so bring your drinkin shoes. SHould be a helluva good time.

Donny and Ben are on right now with you two bozos. I think my camara cord is gone for good so I will make a disk and get the pics on here.

We pounded the fish over the weekend. Saturday we went 15 for 19 and Sunday (we only fished for two hours midday) we went 3 for 3.

A mixed bag, 1 king, 1 steelie, and lots of coho and lakers. 50 plus pounds on Sat. and around 30 pounds on Sun.

Kill those birds so we can catch fish and drink on the boat. Later.

I woke up this morning, Monday May 5th in a cold sweat. I rolled over to make sure my loved one was still in bed. Whew, B mobil was still in bed, under the covers looking me straight in the eyes. Before he could even speak I knew what he was thinking. "B mobil, I know my turkey hunt starts today, but the last I checked, turkey hunting isn't that good Dearborn. Just 4 more days, and the two of us will put Sniffin' Tailfeathers at the top of the leaderboard." B mobil replied, "Good, then could you please remove that 8 inch stake from my backside until then, its killing me!"

Swirly's hunt started on 5/5 so we plan on getting his bird Friday morning. Went for a drive this mroning and there were birds everywhere. I think it should be pretty easy. Oh and by the way, got the job in Harbor Beach for next year, pretty jacked about that one. Gobble Gobble

Sounds good to me, I think you should bring Carl's 2 best friends along as well. They had a good time last year when we went turkey hunting. Mary Jo is always talking about how we went running down the ditch and I fell in and blew dad's gun apart, she's a hoot!

I'm going to find out tonight for sure, but do you think it would be beneficial for me to sneak out of work a little early and maybe make it up to sandusky by 5:00 - 5:30 on thursday. I don't know if you have anything going on or not. Maybe by this time next year you can buy a phone since you'll have a job and I would already have my plans set in stone. What grade are you teaching anyways?

I think that it would be very beneficial due to the fact that I will be thirsty and you can buy the beer. Also, it would be nice to put some birds to bed if that's possible so we can start drinking on firday by 8:00 a.m.

Way to go man, now you can start hunting and fishing more. Start a lay away account at gander and maybe even get out on the Lil' Tanker for some big fishys.

We need to plan on going to Deford to scope out HHH for the hunt next month. We need to put down a $50 deposit at let them know what time we will be there on Friday the 13th. What a great day to spill some blood, hopefully it is not any of ours though those swine look pretty vicious. Not only the one we shoot but the other 10 in the background when we take your pics with the dead one.:lol:

You guys should look at buying a house closer to your new job. Maybe Port Sanilac, that way you are half way for you and Jamie. I know the perfect spot right in town, the guy will give you heck of a deal on it.

I've been practicing all day at work. How does this sound? My old man is coming in today, and whenever he makes it in I'm probably going to take off.
