Have any of you ladies been to the Becoming an Outdoor Women events. The one they had at Mason Mi.(was on Mi.Outdoors T.V. show) pheasant hunting my dog was volunteered for it and all seamed to have a good time. I told my daughter about them because I would like to get her into hunting and hunting with dad and my buddies may be to intimidating. I have got her hooked on salmon fishing and would like to do the same on hunting.

I have not been to any of the BOW events, but am considering going to the one in February. I think it would be a great learning experience and opportunity to make friends with the ladies involved. I enjoy hunting with my husband and his buddies, but it would be great to go hunting with another woman.
Best Regards,

I'd love to go but never have. Living in the far western part of Michigan's UP there doesn't seem to be alot offered this way. Would be alot of fun.

hey born2hunt65. I hunt by you. We have 40 acres by the slate river. I love it up there and hate to go home when the hunt is done. How are the deer making it this winter up there?

I've been to two BOW events. My first was "Preparing for the hunt" and the next was my first pheasant hunt. Both were fantastic experiences. It's great to have the comraderie of other women hunters. Women can offer "women only" types of advise that your daughter may not want to ask dad or the guys!!!

Hey Chad 1 kool next season give me a buzz we'll have a toddy at Dutch's. The deer seem to be doing pretty well despite all the snow, but we are going into the critical time for them. We have alot of snow and March doesn't look like it will be to kind. I guess all we can do is hope for the best. Born
