Get Water Out Of Binos? I Dropped Mine During Hunting Season And Just Found Them. Now They Have Water On The Lenses On The Inside, And I Cant See Out....supposed To Be Waterproof...but There Not. Thanks For The Help.

While I am certainly not an expert I would have to say unless they can be repaired under warranty or are costly enough to warrant repairs I would guess they are a loss. If they are good bino's maybe they can open them up, dry them out, install new seals and recharge the system if they had nitrogen in them.

Ok, I have absolutely no experience doing or trying this, but I have heard it works for electronics. So I guess it would be worth a shot on the bino's. Get a ziploc baggie big enough to hold them and fill it with dry rice. Then place the bino's in it over night I would guess. I've heard this works for cell phones and other electronics and the rice will suck out the moisture. But like I said, I have no firsthand experience in this so i don't know if it works. Maybe others on here have heard of this trick or have tried it before and will know if it works or not,
