:fish: Happy to report that my first trip out this year, I caught a 11 3/4oz, 29 1/2" Hawg 'eye south of the water intake in the Trenton Channel in 5' of water this morning. I'm not much for mounts and such, but after thinking about it, she's going on the wall. 3/4oz RJT jig (Chartreuse and orange) and chartreuse twister tipped with a minnow. Had another one on but it pulled the hook. Nice start to my year!!!

Boo Hoo.
Retiree's are not good with cameras, especially digitals. But if he hangs it off his seawall I'll snap a pic when I go by in a couple hours.;)

I caught a 22 lb'er yesterday, but sorry, I forgot to take pictures!
It had one green eye and the other was bright blue.
It has a 21 inch musky in its stomach when I cut it open.
You guys will just have to take my word for it.
You believe me, right???
Oh, yeah, and it had 2 gold crowns in its mouth.

My buddy and I saw a huge walleye hooked and lost by a boat with three jiggers in it north of the Trenton Saturday. The guys tried to net this huge fish with a tiny trout net a couple of times while it rolled around on the surface. The fish eventually got tired of the foolishness and broke off. The moral of the story: The Big Ones always Get Away, or you can't put 10 pounds of sausage in a 1 pound bag.
