He sucks 3 pitchs 3 hits 3 runsYeah, he's pretty much always been that way. I have no idea why he still has a job. I can say with full confidence that I can do what he does. How hard can it be to throw right over the plate with no movement and serve up a run? - Bryon

Hey, he just got a double play! But on a more serious note, unbelievable. The Tigs really needed a win today, and Grilli ruined their chances, at least for now.

I've always defended him because he has some really good stretches. But yeah, he is a gas can.

He does this today and then can come in and pitch 4 scoreless tomorrow.

This is just such a repeat of last year. I would love to see them give him his papers tomorrow to send a message to the other releivers.

Didn't like him last year and don't like this year. His era at home is a joke (over 7) but he's lights out on the road (less than 2).

If JL. doesn't, it must be someone other than the manager in the system?? Should the blame start at the bottom or the top??? Wasn't these the same problems that Alan was havin with the pitching staff?????????????????

I've never cared for Grilli at all. He's so inconsistent.

Leyland said something like, "you got what you got, and go with what you got". My question is, why do we GOT Grilli and Miner anyway. Neither can throw stikes, and when they do, BANG. To me, Miner doesn't even look like a pitcher. Hear they released Rayburn, really liked this kid, hope he does well. Why didn't they release either Grilli or Miner. Rayburn would have helped them more than those two. My posts got rid of Maroth (think he's out of baseball for now) and Williams of the Red Wings. Like horse racing, past performance tells the story, and Grilli and Miner have a poor past performance. They may prove me wrong, but I don't think so.

He (Rayburn) just got sent to Toledo. They needed another pitcher in the bullpen.
