Sitting with Birdog this morning over coffee he says to me that they are thinking of closing the snowmobile trails here already. I'm thinking it's because of the warm weather that we have had making the trails really cruddy to ride. Well I was wrong, go figure hey, lol. He goes on to tell me it's because people are removing the curve signs from the trails. He said they are actually taking a wrench or socket and unscrewing the sharp curve signs off the posts. All I can think is what is wrong with this world today when someone would make a consciouse decision to remove the signs and cause another human being great bodily harm or death. The trails are dangerous enough now days with the speed of the snowmobiles netherless to remove signs so a person doesn't have a clue of whats ahead of them. Anyway they may close the trails so it will be ride at your own risk. I guess I can not blame the DNR for that who can afford the liabilty. So caution to all my friends out there who may be riding in the western half of the UP. Born
