Dan Owen and I went out sat for one last shot at MB. Temp was 21@7:30, needed hip boots to get to good ice about a foot thick, action slow at first then picked up about noon and ya couldn’t keep a line down. Dead minnow head worked best but they’d hit anything. We each caught 200 kept 50 (I think everyone out limited about 20-30) all nice ones 9-11 with a few jumbo’s they were also killing the gills & crappie at the middle grounds. Getting off the ice was another story,about 100 yards from shore Dan started breaking thru with each step (only 2’ of water but spooky anyhow and Dan out weights me by ???? well…..alot plus a bucket full of fish. Had a great last day in the Sun, won’t last much longer….time to get the boat out. Hey Dano9 you should have been here…Dusty
