Hi all. I was browsing seeing whats out there for female hunting forums and came across one site that made me stop and think a moment. The moderator only had 5 posts in a year period. Very little female and no male interaction. I then checked out some of the posts and too my surprise the moderator did not want any male input. I thought how sad. I also thought myself very lucky that I belong to the Michigan-Sportsman forums and that there is such great people here. I deeply appreciate all who participate in my forum and contribute their opions, ideas, and such here. You guys have made this forum go. Thank you all so much. Gosh sounding kinda mushy here guess it's that time of year, lol. Seriously tho I am very lucky. I did post a reply to that moderator and gave her a few words of encouragement. Thanks again to everyone. Hope you all have a Happy Holiday Season. Born

Sad, and pretty snooty, I'd say, for that one site not to want any male input. Not that she would be able to tell the difference, anyway, if some guy really wanted to post there. What site is it anyway? I noticed you checked in at womenshuntingonline.com, a site I sometimes visit. It's a great site for women hunters. Kathy Etling, the moderator, is one of the most knowledgeable female hunters that there is. And, there are lot of great people there too. As there are here also. You and all the moderators here at michigan sportsman do a great job.

Do you read Parade Magazine? A few weeks ago, Marilyn vos Savant, who has a weekly column, and supposedly has the highest IQ in the Guiness Book of World Records, said, "Men friends bring great enrichment to any intelligent woman's life". Certainly the converse is also true, Women friends bring great enrichment to any intelligent man's life.

How d'ya do, mam? I think it's great that you have this section. Michigan-Sportsman has got to be the best forum I found yet. Superbly moderated and a class act of members, all of 'em. The last thing we need is, yet another issue to seperate our numbers. The only way we can keep our heritage alive is through communication and unconditional respect for each others opinions as sportsmen. No matter what gender, race, age, or technique. Keep on the path.
